It's been several years since it last happened, but here on the west coast of Florida, last night's temperature fell to 39 degrees with a feel-like reading of 31.
I still went out to get the newspaper this morning wearing shorts and a short-sleeved shirt. It was quite nippy, but I was only outside less than a half-minute.
The 39-degree reading matches last winter's low, but after another below-normal temperature (in the low 50s) tonight, we'll go through the rest of the week with all of the low temperatures in the 60s and most of the afternoons in the low 80s.
