The lamestream media will never tell it like it is, but President Trump declared a national emergency at the southern border to impede illegal immigration and the flow of drugs, because Congress continues to refuse to do its job.
The Democrats and the fake-news media are falsely claiming that it's a “fake” crisis and there is no problem that requires construction of new barriers at the southern border.
The definition of crisis is “a condition or instability or danger, as in social, economic, political or international affairs, leading to a decisive change.”
But how and why is it not a crisis? There are more than 15 million illegals in this country who have ignored our immigration laws, and we have people pouring over the borders every day, with 107,000 “family units” taken into custody in 2018. And there were 369,000 apprehensions along the southern border last year, and that doesn't include all of the illegals who weren't caught.
Democrats and the liberal media continue to mislead U.S. citizens, even though 72,000 people die from opioid overdose every year, and criminals, potential terrorists, gang members and child abusers easily pass into our country.
If this is isn't considered a crisis, what would be?
