You know the lightning you see from the ground? Like what's in the attached? You need to see it from the air. I was flying back from New York once, across the Rockies where a storm was going on. What was a bolt of lightning from the ground was an entire cloud bank firing up from above. Miles of flash. Pretty amazing.
