Henry Chinaski is the alter ego of one of my favorite authors, Charles Bukowski. He has the following to say in the Novel "Ham on Rye": "A whole god-damned nation of assholes driving automobiles, eating, having babies, doing everything in the worst way possible, like voting for the presidential candidate who reminded them most of themselves." I think that sums up modern political acumen of the American voter pretty well.
