Maybe my math is off here This grant was awarded in 2015. Article states State Department warnings came as early as 2018.
In what world does 2018 come before 2015? Is this new math?

Article is poorly written. The 2018 warnings don't have anything to do with the 2015 grant. The article is suggesting that there were issues before hand.

A quick Google search of "state dept warnings about wuhan labs" does not show anything prior to 2018.

Also, technically, the grant did not go directly to the lab, it went to EcoHealth Alliances. They passed it on to a number labs in the US, Singapore and China.

Not sure what to make of this whole thing from Guiliani.
