WAMO has been gone for more than five years but he's still No. 3 in posts!

It has been more than five years -- June 7, 2021, to be exact -- since once-prominent member WAMO departed this forum and took his marbles and went home, so to speak. Even so, as forum activity continues its drastic decline, he still ranks a solid No. 3 in total posts behind Greg and I.

In roughly the same time frame, several other once-prominent forum participants -- Livespive, Good Times Good Times, bbfreeburn, sevenpin63 and Robadat -- also disappeared for good. Sadly, in some ways, it seems like we're down to The Final Four.

Hopefully, all of them are in good health and doing well in whatever pursuits they may be currently engaging in.
 
I'm still checking in. i have noticed that the less popular bowling gets, the less activity bowling discussion forums receive. FB has taken over because of the ability to create and manage groups with much more functionality than dedicated forums. Plus, people don't have to navigate away from FB. Sounds strange, but I know a guy who thinks FB IS the internet. I have given him the urls of two different discussion boards and he is incapable of understanding. He just tells me that nothing comes up on his page when types them in.
