I finally got in touch with him, and of course he denies having anything to do with the disappearance of one of my sheep, but I'm still not buying his excuse that the bleating sound I was hearing in the background was a ceiling fan with a bad motor bearing... 
He's been busy with work and preparing a room for the baby (due this spring). He requested I ask everyone to give him a bunch of shit for being gone when he returns.
