So for the older generation...
Has the Republican party overall moved farther left, stayed the same, or farther right?
I was on reddit in a local subreddit and they were adamant that the party has moved farther right. Obviously Reddit is far left to begin with, but here is my analysis:
1. Most aren't fiscally conservative
2. As a whole the party has moved farther left on abortion (they've done pissed off the evangelicals)
3. As a whole most don't care about gay marriage anymore except the extremists
4. Some Republicans in office are considering red flag laws for gun ownership.
5. Republicans used to be the party of big pharma
As many Republicans have said over the years, Republicans are just Ds with speed bumps.
