Pernell McPhee agrees with Bears

I still follow the Lions, in fact all of the Detroit pro teams. Guess I like to suffer.

Yeah, makes no sense. Defense wins... Look at the Bears: They sold out for offense and where did that get them?

I'm not a fan of Suh or the Lions, but aren't they in cap hell? There's no way they could have kept him without dumping quite a few other players to get the cap space neccessary to keep him. I know the blame for that falls on team management, but it is what it is. They couldn't keep him without gutting the rest of the team.
As for the Fins, the AFC East just got tougher for everyone else in it. Good pick up for them, their defense just got much better...

Cap hell... Bolis down to whether the star QB will take a pay cut. Look at NO, self-serving Drew Brees wouldn't restructure this offseason. At least Cutler was willing to rework his (I believe).
