Literally fell out of the sky about 5 miles away from me. All dead but luckily it landed in the middle of the road.

Nest camera showing it fall right out of the sky.

Twitter post deleted. Here's the original. In the far right top of screen you can see it fall out of the sky.

The Blackhawks have a design flaw that allows fissures to develop in the airframe. These helicopters require strict inspection and preventative maintenance. Nicknamed the Crackhawk.

So sorry this happened. Seeing it fall like that is cringe. Those fellas didn't stand a chance to escape.

From what I'm hearing is that it was part of the air national guard in TN. The fear was that it was one of Redstones' even though they mostly test apaches. Heck, yulista is constantly flying ospreys from a private airport a mile from my house.
