Nope no where did the reporter say that this was not done during regular league play, 3 900's all prebowled. Crock of shit. He is so full of shit he is turning brown, and I'll tell ya from living in upstate NY for a few years, that ain't a suntan.
Should Mushtare's scores not count either since it was a doubles league and his partner was not sanctioned yet?? Obviously an ethics issue there. If it is a sanctioned doubles league don't all the bowlers need to be sanctioned at that time??

You would also think that if you and your doubles partner shot 600 to tie the highest score ever that his doubles partner would be heard from. Seems like he would want his 15 min of infamy
I haven't seen any comments from Allison or Sonnenfeld on this. I'm sure someone has asked what they think. I woud be interested to hear from them.
The reason Sonnenfeld and Allison haven't made comments is because they know Mushturd's scores are a crock and they're not going to waste their time.
It would not benefit them to make any comments on this issue. If they come out talking bad about the kid then it will look like sour grapes, especially from Allison's point of view. It would be classless for them to come out saying anything bad about the kid, not because is wouldn't be true, just don't think it would benefit them or the game.
BULL SH*T. I have worked at a bowling center for 8 years and everyone knows when you go to make a score correction it marks some type of special marking, for example and "E" on most telescores, when someone makes a score correction. There is a way to mark scores all day long on the telescore and no type of special marking appears. If he was by himself in the entire bowling alley he could have went in the back, or know someone in the back, and remove the automatic reset plunger. This will allow you to keep throwing balls over and over until all the pins are knocked down then hit the rest button to get a strike. I just don't understand how someone can lie his way into the record books and raise his head up high. Bowling a 900 series is everybowlers dream and all this guy did for me was make me ashamed to be a bowler. If you wanna be a pro one day you will get a a** kicking of your life.
I've shared this on another thread, but I think the kid threw 36 in a row while practicing. Thats do-able on something easy enough. I bet almost every pro has. I almost seen it done, a buddy threw about 25 or 30 one night while practicing, we lost count. Some people on this site even have mentioned throwing that many in practice. My guess is he decided that he deserved a 900 for his efforts, and got his mom/league secretary to turn it in.
When they turned down the first one, I think they fixed the original problem and submitted it again. Then when it looked like that one was going to get shot down they tried it again, this time with a witness/partner. Then USBC in its infinite wisdom approved both of them. Hell, he might have even shot one legit, by himself in a practice situation where he just happened to be pre-bowling. I doubt it, but on something easy enough, bowling by yourself... who knows.
He went into the real world at Junior Gold and reality set in. We all know he'll never do it in any kind of competition. I looked at the video and he doesnt have the knee bend or the ball speed to bowl on burnt heads, nor does it appear he can play straight up the outside, so unless the shot is 15 to the gutter, I think we can all pretty much write him off, but if it is 15 to the gutter with hold in the tug, watch out for puffed chest syndrome.
