    Texas State

Ozie Dafney just shot 289-300-255--844 from Texarkana. I'm pretty sure his average is around 220 or lower, that gives him around 914 for singles with handicap.

Who is already shut out for singles???

I was wrong on the average. He actually has a 224 so he only shot 900... 844 sounds better winning division 1, than 900 with handicap.

I heard this last weekend at SASBA that Texas State Open Tournament lost 150 team entries from the previous year.

And if that is true, I wonder how many more we are going to lose next year because I heard many teams going this year were not aware that the State Tournament was handicapped this year.

What needs to be done to convince the current State Assoc. Board that they need to go back to the way it was?

I agree, the carry was pretty tough there.

When I bowled league there, it was always tough, but the occasional 300/800 did happen. That place made me bowl better everywhere else?

    mr. p,

Open state tournament is DOWN 1 team this year from last.

There are proposed changes to the format for next year.

To give a little credit to Mr P, he said he did hear that at SASBA this past weekend. Two issues at hand, one was he was in Austin, this goofy ass place is full of stupid rumors when it comes to bowling related issues. Second and probably the most accurate was he was around a bunch of OLD people and their memories are going fast...

    HAPPY FRIDAY!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
    WALKER!!!!!!!!!!!!! Any questions????

I hope that is good news, because of recent events, not all hope and change has workout for the best...

So you still feel there is no reason for me to attend tomorrows meeting at Hobby Hilton?

You would be welcomed to attend and make embarks if you wished. There will be an opportunity for business and comments to be presented to the board from the floor
