My 3G are about ready to be retired... they are No longer making them, The Shuffler, so now I'm looking for a replacement pair... any suggestions for new shoes?
I'm listening to, I'll be looking for a new pair myself here pretty soon. I'm leaning towards Dexters but if there's something better out there, I'm willing to listen...

Dexters make the SST8 where you can adjust the soles on both shoes to set up how you want. I don't have them but haven't heard anything bad about them either!!
Jimmy, do you know how much those run?

the pair i had before these were Dexters, and i got rid of them when the slide sole came off while i was sliding and caused me to fall and tear open my knee resulting in stitches ... i won't wear any shoes that don't have the anchor in the changeable heel like the 3G does
if that narrows it down to only 3G, then so be it ... if some others have that, then i'd be willing to change brands
i have a long slide and have only used Linds... SST8's sucked for me. Super Glue is holding my Linds together now....![]()
WALKER!!!!!!!!!!!!! Any questions????

If the PBA accepted Linds, That would most likely be my first choice.... I think the PBA needs to get off that "approved" suppliers crap... Making what few manufacturers we have left making the bowling products we neeed held hostage in making them pay money to the PBA to be approved to be used in PBA competition in the PBA's current condition, it's stupid in my opinion.

When my Dynothane Tour Ultras are no longer usable I'll probably just get another pair of Tour Ultras. Most comfortable shoe I've ever worn, period.

Just some guy from a place that gets snow... sometimes
I have sst8s. The sole of my right foot (push-off foot) will not stay on. Have heard several people say the soles peel away from the shoe, especially in the toe area of the slide foot and the area around the ball of your foot on the push off foot. I feel like the price you pay for these shoes you should get a more solid connection between sole and shoe.
Look at Global 900. They took over Dynothane. Large display at Global booth at the Nationals in BR.
