From Rick's daughter:
Good morning! Thank you so much for posting on your message board about the death of my father, and your friend. I've been worried how I was going to inform the bowling world. I can't get to his cell phone until I pick it up from the police station.
I wanted to post a comment on the board, but couldn't figure out how to register! Would you please let everyone know that we appreciate all of the kind words and support that we have received from everyone? Also, I know you posted Wade's blog, but I wanted to also give you more information. The funeral is at 10 am on Tuesday at Emmanuel (already on your message boards) and there will be a burial at 4 in Hope, KS on Tuesday. I will be meeting with the funeral director this morning and hope to set up a time for a viewing on Monday.
Thank you again for all of your support and also, I am so sorry for the loss of your friend. He will be truly missed!
Mary Beth Talley
The funeral home number again is (580) 233-1400
Sorry to hear about Rck. Was a great guy the little time I got to know him.
Condolences to the family. I guess it's a small world b/c I went to elementary thru high school with Mary Beth and didn't even know the family was connected to bowling until I saw the posting on sasba about Rick.
