I'd Quit if I were you... Just walk away and never think about bowling again... Why don't you give basket weaving a try... Later

i took last summer off from league play b/c i got burnt out,
after about a month, the void left from a lack of competition had me wanting to bowl more than ever and it actually forced me to work harder and it's paying divendends this year,

You shouldn't just stop bowling because of the reality check you just got in vegas. ..... It humbled your ass because you have been bowling good and your confidence was high....

Its just something you have to bowl through. It just wasn't your shot and I know, I know. The money spent chasing it was just not worth the time. Knowing how much effort you have put in.

Thats mainly why I quit bowling that stuff... Yes I would win money but it would never make it home. Yes a figjam with a gambling problem. The time put into it was to much for nothing when I know I can stay home and beat up on everybody and stay focus at home.

I now pick and choose my spots to bowl. Only when I know I will have a good time or when Im ready to be serious knowing I will have a shot.

As for summer leagues, I bowl with my FRIENDS ONLY!(crown & diet) I make it as fun as possible.

Just Hang in there... you will figure you own way through it.

Sometimes a person can stretch themselves out. Multiple leagues and tournaments can wear you down. Take a little time off to relax and regain focus. Hang in there.

No truer words have ever been spoken on here. I can remember TT bowling 10 squads one year chasing the cut number when he was always 1 hit short. We brought home a lot of bowling balls that year in a rental.

Now your feet are wet in Vegas and realize that the shot looks the same from year to year. Think about what you could do different to find the missing 21 pins.

Now that you are back one of two thing will happen:

    - The first is you are going to be really lost and out of timing due to changes made on the fly in Vegas.

    - Or you will be so sharp that the hard work from Vegas paid off and honor scores will be crazy.

The main part of coming home after a disappointing trip is to have fun and remember why you enjoy bowling. If you need a week off take it.
The government's view of the economy could be summed up in a few short phrases: If it moves, tax it. If it keeps moving, regulate it. And if it stops moving, subsidize it."
