Patrick Johnson just committed to LSU!

The Rivals.com #1 CB, #3 overall player in the nation just committed to LSU! His choice came down to LSU, Florida, and Florida State, and he picked LSU. That's a HUGE gain for the LSU defensive backs.

Les Miles clearly can't recruit. Many have said that it's a down year with recruiting in Louisiana, but so far he has LSU ranked #7 in the nation with 1 5star recruit, and a plethora of 4star recruits. He's signing players from all over the nation and the best in the state. There are also a few more 5star and 4star recruits with LSU on their short list.

What a terrible job. Screw Les Miles.

    3 ten + win seasons
    An SEC championship
    ..and possibly a national championship.
and still snagging top quality recruits.

    All in just 3 years.

I really wish this guy would get up off his ass and do something.

I had no doubt Miles could recruit. He even brought some good players in to OSU and I would be the first to admit it is easier to get a recruit to LSU than to get them to Stillwater, Oklahoma.

My only doubt was how the rumors about the Michigan job would effect this years class. It appears that the Rodriquez hiring was in time to save the class.

He'll have to get off his ass when Saban's impact runs out soon. Funny how people will agree that Presidential administrations impact the future when they're gone as much as they do the present. But those same people don't understand a coach's impact on a team that he changed for 4 years. I'm not saying that Miles can't recruit or can't coach. I'm just saying the training wheels are about to completely come off. Can't wait to see Miles wreck the Johnny Come Lately Mobile (LSU).

So if the recruiting class is equal or better to past years how would the wheels come off other than poor coaching?

    How can you say this?
LSU will suffer growing pains next year because their losing almost everyone, but Miles' first 3 recruiting classes were top notch.

In 2 years from now,..they'll be back on top.

As far as Saban is concerned, in 2004, he play a fucktard qb named Marcus Randall over Jamarcus Russell. It cost us bigtime that year.
Be prepared for bonehead decisions like that from slick Nick.

Roll Tide Roll!! Not that this is any indication of what they will be. I mean isn't Notre Dame at or near the top every year and look at how bad they were this year. Still, you have to start somewhere and why is LSU's #7 so bad???

I dis agree with the ND at top, this is the first top 10 class they had in 4 yrs,one of the reasons they had a bad year, and I knew it would be bad is they lost 17 starters,no excuse just facts.

I bow to your more informed opinion. I don't follow it all that closely but I just thought I had always seen Notre Dame in the top 10 whenever I did look at it.

I think after the game yesterday, Rivals now has UGA at the top. Miles can recruit and at LSU he should be on autopilot honestly. There are some universities that could recruit by themselves ie LSU, Texas, Miami, USC, ND, Ohio St, Michigan etc.

As far as Miles coaching ability, I just hope that the fans love him as much when all those chances he takes backfire, b.c. they will at one pt. LSU could easily have been a 4 loss team.

I've got a loaded beer cooler,2 paddles,a radio, and possibly some whores to take with us on that SKIFF.

Please don't make me go to some other elite programs and start asking,'what if'.
