Congratulations to Brian Kramer(# 9 seed) for winning his first ASBT title by defeating Richie Rylant(#10 seed) in the finals 266-234. Brian bowling in his second ASBT event had the hot hand in the bracket after qualifying 9th. Brian went through the bracket with wins over Clint Owens 267-229, Jared Studnar 248-189, Doug Hayes 278-238, then in the finals of the winners bracket his first win over Richie 258-196. Richie had defeated JD Weller 241-165 in the finals of the losers bracket to set up the re-match. Richie had wins over John Finch 234-177, Chris Cranford 232-212, JD Weller 243-236 before losing to Brian.

The field of 59 bowlers was lead by Nick Branum at plus 240 with a five game block of 271-247-269-241-212. Nick found out that the number one seed was not the place to be losing to Jared Studnar 248-215 then he lost to Clint Owens 255-195.

The scores were very high as plus 150 to make the top 16 and that spot was held by Jared Studnar. We had 49 out of 59 that were plus or better, the unlucky #17 spot was Brian Kuykendall at plus 148.

Our high qualifier Nick Branum own $100.00 and our high non cash senior was Grady Creasie at plus 133.

This field had bowlers from seven different states and we want to say thanks for each of you for spreading the word. This allows the ASBT to continue to grow and we hope to see each of you in Jonesboro on Oct. 4th for the second stop of the season. This field will be limited to 80 bowlers and we have over 20 on the list. As each stop this year will require a deposit ($25.00) get your in early to hold your spot. If you have a pre paid package and plan to bowl this top please let us know ASAP.

Thanks again to Shane Gillmore and his staff for hosting the largest weekend to date for us.
