Format:
1. Tournament will be doubles format open to all USBC Certified individuals.
2. Entries close at 9:30 A.M. on September 25, 2005. Entries will be limited to the first 36 PAID TEAMS
3. Members may pay in advance by September 15, 2005 to guarantee their entry.
4. Teams will bowl 6 games across 6 pairs of lanes. Qualifying will be in Standard Doubles format.
5. A minimum of the top six (6) teams after qualifying will advance to Finals. Teams advancing to Finals will be 1 team for every 6 entries.
6. The Finals will consist of 6 games bowled in Bakers Doubles format with the winner of each match being awarded 30 Bonus Pins. Pincount from Qualifying does not carry over into the Finals.
7. Should there be a tie for the last spot advancing to the Finals, the team advancing will be decided by a 9th and 10th frame style roll-off, Standard Doubles.
8. The 6th game of the Finals will be a Position Round based on total pin count plus Bonus Pins accumulated during the Finals. There will be no Step-Ladder.
9. Side pots to include $5Bracket Boards available for games 1-3 and 4-6; $10 6-game Bracket Board;and a $2 Bowling Ball Bracket Board, where a new bowling ball will be awarded to the winner of a 6 game bracket.
10. Mystery Pot: Upon completion of Qualifying, a game and score will be pulled at random The score will be between 400 and 600; any team matching both the game and score will win 100% of the Mystery Pot. If both are not matched, another game and score will be selected, worth 50% of the pot. If that is not matched, we will pull a score until we have a winner, this is worth 25% of the pot. Any money not won will be carried over to the next NOLA event.
11. If more than 1 team matches the Mystery Score, they will split evenly the amount being awarded on that pull.
12. Check in between 9:00 and 9:30 A.M. Practice will begin at 9:50 A.M.
13. Tournament Director(s) reserve the right to reject any/all entries and will decide all disputes. Also reserves the right to cancel the tournament due to lack of interest or any other unforeseen circumstances beyond his control.
14. Cash only will be accepted as payment for the tournament. No Checks Please!
15. Reminder: This is the EIGHTH event of the 2005 NOLA BOWLING Scratch Sweeper Tour. Membership fee is $25 per year. Non-Members pay an additional $10 to participate in the tournament.
