Ebonite V2 Power is a much better choice.
Haven't heard anything about it really.

There is no reason for you to add your comments when you have no clue what is going on. He asked a question about Brunswick... Not Ebonite. If you cannot offer any info on the subject then don't offer your opinion...

I don't really like Ebonite. So obviously I won't go buy ebonite but thank you for your opinion on the V2 Power.

It's going to have an RG of about 2.51, with a new Activator Advanced cover. It's hook potential is 135 on brunswick's scale, 5 higher than the absolute. And supposed to be the longest and snappiest inferno yet. Must be one crazy cover, that Activator advanced, considering it goes longer than the absolute but ranks slightly higher in hook potential. Here's a computer generated pic of what it looks like....Black and silver.

since I am a Dyno guy the only thing I did not make the finals in vegas last week was in the Brunswick shootout with a Smoking Inferno. Aftre watching everyone throw them it does not look like a bad ball. However it looks pretty one dementional as far as the reaction. It did clear the front but there was lots of oil. And it really hooked when it finally picked up a roll. But for me it was way too skid flip, because it gave ME way too much over under.
For some it may not be bad. Remember there are no bad balls just bad shot making.

Robert Lawrence commented that to get it to work at the Shootout you had to rough up the surface a bit. Should be good on a house shot though. Then again what isnt now-a-days.

Very condition specific ball. Be careful that doesnt catch you out

I just got my Smokin Inferno drilled and WOW!!!If you are a high rpm bowler, this ball is perfect. I throw a low with rpm and the Smoking Inferno makes up for that. I'm easily throwing the ball out 10 boards from my starting stance. Lots of pin action. I''m still trying to get use to it, being a high hooking ball(for me). I had the ball for one day and the hightest game I shot with it so far is 269. I recommend this ball to anyone who throws with low rpms on the ball.
