After allBowling.com's interview with Rick Steelsmith, we've lined up a few questions with Ritchie Allen who captured his first national title this year in Dallas.
True to his nature, Allen wanted to mix things up with the e-interview. He agreed to the interview only if there would be a few non-bowling questions asked. The hard part was coming up with those questions.
<B>1. You've been known to evangelize the use of plastic equipment while practicing. Do you really feel it has improved your game and how?</B>
THROWING PLASTIC IN PRACTICE.....OVER THE YEARS, YES IT HAS HELPED!! I WASNT ALLOWED TO THROW URETHANE UNTIL I AVG 180 WITH PLASTIC..NEEDLESS TO SAY I GOT MY FIRST URETHANE BALL WHEN I WAS 12!! OLD HABITS ARE HARD TO BREAK....IF YOU CAN AVG 205+ IN LEAGUE WITH A PLASTIC BALL......YOU SHOULD NEVER HAVE ANYTHING TO COMPLAIN ABOUT....CAUSE ODDS ARE YOU GOT GAME!! NEXT QUESTION....

YES THEY DO HELP!! THE REGIONALS ARE A STRONG PART OF ANY TOURING PROS OFF-SEASON!! THEY KEEP YOU SOMEWHAT SHARPE.....YOU HAVE TO GET GEARED UP MENTALLY AS WELL!! THE REGIONALS ARE SOMETHING I ALWAYS LOOK FORWARD TO.....THE GIVE YOU TELL TALE SIGNS OF HOW YOU ARE EVOLVING AS A BOWLER!! AND EVERYONE EVOLVES....!!
<B>5. Many of allBowling.com readers often frequent the PBA website and many of them participate in their forums. Lately there's been a lot of "moderating" of the topics. Your thoughts?</B>

FIRST YOU GET TO THE MAN!! WHY?? SO YOU CAN IGNORE HIM IN 5 MIN AND ASK HIS GIRL FOR THE DIGITS!! OH, THANKS!! BTW, THAT WAS HIM BUYING ME ANOTHER SHOT OF JAEGER, WHILE HE WAS GONE, SPENDING HIS MONEY ON ME, HER NUMBER IS 405-654-3327!! NO NEED FOR APPLAUSE.....THATS JUST WHAT I DO!!
