Results from the Blind Draw Doubles:

19 teams competed so the format was changed slightly to bowling 5 games and cutting to the Top 12. From there, it was back to single elimination, 1 game match play.

Unfortunately, I do not have the standings for everyone after qualifying: however the

ROUND OF 12:
McLantoc/Boudreaux defeated Sculthorp/Weimer
Duke/Landry defeated Cittadino/Maher
Pup/Breaud defeated xxxx/xxxxx (sorry, can't read my own scribble)
Daniels/Cantu defeated Dumbleton/Anderson
Santangelo/Smith defeated Pretlove/Vincent
Amedee/Harris defeated Monteleone/Scheuermann

Round of 6:
Duke/Landry over Pup/Breaud
McLantoc/Boudreaux over Amedee/Harris
Daniels/Cantu over Santangelo/Smith

Top 3:
Daniels/Cantu and Mclantoc/Boudreaux advanced as Duke/Landry was the lowest team

Chamionship:
Daniels/Cantu defeated McLantoc/Boudreaux!

Shootout Results:

42 bowlers participated with what I thought was some surprising results:

Shootout last I believe 22 shots (or maybe 24) with only 1 frame having 8 counts eliminated and not until we had 9 bowlers left did a 9 count wipe out 5 of them. The rest were 7's and 6's with two 3 counts!!

In a hard fought battle; David Weimer outlasted everyone to take the Shootout event!!

Singles 5 Game Sweeper:

42 bowlers / Paid the Top 7. Once again the scores for many bowlers were surprisingly low; while others still had a good look to the pocket.

Top 7:
1. Monteleone + 225
2. Chick + 190
3. Breaud + 189
4. McLantoc + 168
5. Weimer + 153
6. Lovell + 139
7. Landry +137

NOLA 2005 will be starting either at the end of February or very early March. We are going to let the Super Bowl and Mardi Gras get finished with.

Also, you regular guys need to make sure I know the weekends that you all are bowling Nationals so I can try to schedule NOLA around those weekends as much as I possibly can. Any other pertinent info on other tournaments would be helpful too.

Thanks
